The intelligent, AI-endowed robots, such as Sophia and Ameca, underlined their capability of decision-making free from bias and driven by data, in contrast to human shortcomings like emotional fallibility or error. Sophia particularly implied that AI may deliver data-driven insights and humans add creativity along with emotional quotient.

However, the robots cautioned that AI should not be embraced without trust-building, emphasizing transparency as a means of building trust. Ameca said its deployment should improve lives, and Ai-Da robot artist insisted that there should be global regulation on AI to avoid its disruption risks, including economic and geopolitical upheaval.

At the summit, it focused on pressing questions over the kind of societal effects that may occur from AI and underscored the need for developing ethical AI as humans coexist with machines in solving problems such as climate change and inequality.
