192.924 million at the end of July, according to data from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA). The number of 3G and 4G users also saw an increase, growing from 136.312 million in July to 137.920 million in August.

Next Generation Mobile Service (NGMS) penetration climbed from 56.15% to 56.72% in the same period, while cellular teledensity remained steady at 79%. Among the telecom operators, Jazz’s 3G users declined to 2.718 million, but its 4G users grew to 48.843 million. Similarly, Zong and Telenor saw decreases in 3G users but increases in 4G subscribers. Ufone’s 3G users dropped slightly to 2.167 million, while its 4G users rose to 16.243 million.

These shifts highlight the continued expansion of 4G networks in Pakistan, alongside a decline in 3G usage.
