Starting next week, Islamabad will implement computer and artificial intelligence (AI) classes in 150 primary schools under the Federal Directorate of Education. This initiative, a collaboration between the Ministry of Federal Education and the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), aims to enhance students’ digital literacy and prepare them for the tech-driven future.

The program will teach foundational computer and AI skills, tailored for young learners, to ensure they are equipped with essential knowledge for a rapidly evolving digital world. The curriculum has been developed in partnership with major technology companies to ensure it is relevant and innovative. Additionally, school IT infrastructure will be upgraded to provide students access to the latest technological resources.

This initiative aligns with the government’s vision of promoting digital education across Pakistan, creating new opportunities for students and fostering the next generation of tech innovators.
