IT Ministry and SIFC to Inspect CDA IT Park Site Alongside Industry Leaders

The Ministry of IT and Telecom, in partnership with the Special Investment Facilitation Center (SIFC), is spearheading a visit to the site of Islamabad’s upcoming IT Park in Sector G-10. This proactive industry visit aims to gather key stakeholders and potential partners to explore the development of Pakistan’s largest IT Park.

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has invited Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified companies to develop and manage the IT Park, with strong interest already shown by several companies. Planned for a 3.3-acre plot, the IT Park will provide a sprawling core area of 100,000 square feet, accommodating an estimated 5,000 to 6,000 IT professionals.

Operating under a public-private partnership model, the Park will offer shared co-working spaces, startup incubators, dedicated offices for SMEs, research centers, and recreational facilities. The project aims to transform the gray structure on the plot into a state-of-the-art facility adhering to international standards, with an initial 15-year lease term. The IT Park heralds Islamabad’s vision to become a center for innovation and tech entrepreneurship.
