Meta has unveiled Muse Charm, a compact AI-powered gadget built to bring its Muse AI assistant into a dedicated physical device. Keychain-sized, and pitched as a modern spin on digital companions, it’s meant to keep an AI assistant within reach all day long.

AI Assistant in a Keychain-Sized Device

Muse Charm comes with a small display showing a customizable Muse character. Unlike the usual AI assistants that live inside a smartphone app, this one can clip onto a keychain, sit in a pocket, or hang from a strap.

Cameras, microphones, speakers, USB-C charging, a fingerprint sensor, it’s all packed in. Built-in 5G means it can reach Meta’s AI services without needing Wi-Fi. Regular phone or video calls, though, aren’t part of the deal.

A More Personal AI Experience

Users can customize how the Muse character looks and sounds, and nearby Muse Charm devices can actually talk to each other. Setup and syncing happen through the Muse app, available on both Android and iPhone.

Meta’s targeting a December launch, though pricing hasn’t been announced yet.
