Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Syed Amin ul Haque, expressed the country’s abundant investment prospects in various sectors, particularly IT and telecom.
In a meeting held with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan, Khazar Farhadov, Minister Haque emphasized Pakistan’s desire to strengthen bilateral relations in the technology domain and enhance trade volume between the two nations.
He assured the Azerbaijan government and businessmen of the IT Ministry’s commitment to offering comprehensive facilities and support, encompassing areas such as incubation centers, software technology parks, mobile manufacturing, and the telecom sector.
Ambassador Farhadov lauded the commendable initiatives undertaken by Pakistan in the IT sector and expressed Azerbaijan’s keenness to benefit from the country’s experiences.
He further disclosed that Azerbaijan’s Minister for Digital Development & Transport is scheduled to visit Pakistan in the second week of July. The envoy expressed optimism about signing several Memorandums of Understanding during the visit, fostering bilateral cooperation in the technology sector.
Furthermore, Ambassador Farhadov extended an official invitation to Minister Haque to visit Azerbaijan.
