Nvidia Overtakes Apple and Microsoft to Become World’s Most Valuable Company

Nvidia has surpassed Apple and Microsoft to become the most valuable company globally, with a market cap of $3.34 trillion. This achievement was fueled by a 3% rise in Nvidia’s stock, driven by its strong performance in the AI sector.

The Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund will significantly increase Nvidia’s representation to around 21%, while Apple’s share will drop to 4.5%. State Street Global Advisors is expected to invest $10 billion in Nvidia shares, with other funds likely to follow.

Rosenblatt Securities boosted Nvidia’s stock further by raising its price target to $200, anticipating earnings of over $5 per share by 2026 due to gains in the AI chip industry. Nvidia’s advanced chips like Hopper, Blackwell, and Rubin are set to strengthen its market position in AI infrastructure.

Since early 2023, Nvidia’s value has surged nearly tenfold, tripling in 2024 alone, and it now leads the AI sector, having previously surpassed Amazon and Alphabet in market value.
