Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, has announced a significant initiative to send 2,000 skilled IT professionals to Japan. This move aims to enhance the professional opportunities for Pakistani IT experts abroad.

 

Speaking at the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) headquarters, the minister emphasized the government’s efforts to support overseas Pakistanis, describing them as ambassadors of the nation. One key initiative is the provision of online facilities for property transfers. Initially available to expats in the US, this service will soon extend to those in the UK, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Italy, and Spain.

 

The minister highlighted that most complaints from overseas Pakistanis involve property transfers. To address this, the government plans to resolve such complaints within 20 days, making the process smoother and more efficient.

 

This initiative not only aims to open new career pathways for IT professionals in Japan but also to facilitate overseas Pakistanis in managing their properties back home. The efforts underscore the government’s commitment to leveraging digital solutions for the benefit of its citizens abroad, enhancing their ease of doing business and connection to Pakistan.
