Alibaba.com, a name well-known for global trade held its first-ever summit in Multan. It aimed at making progress in eCommerce exports by availing the opportunities available to local businesses. This event was enthusiastically attended by more than 250 people with about 100 participants joining online.
The summit was held with the name “Multan Seller Summit- Export! KYA? KYUN? AUR KAISE- Alibaba.com Ke Saath”, and it discussed various aspects by which Pakistani eCommerce exports can be elevated. The representatives also provided the exports with innovative ideas and tips for grabbing the available opportunities, getting familiar with needed skills, and excelling as sellers on Alibaba.com.
This event was attended by the Marketing Head at Alibaba.com, Ms.Amy Li and during addressing the participants she stated, “We are overwhelmed to visit Multan as this region has huge untapped potential for e-commerce export development. We wish to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) here achieve sustainable growth by building their presence on our digital marketplace and boosting their visibility among global buyers, and in turn, help promote the country’s export.”
