Pakistan Behind in 5G Adoption

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has explicitly stated that, as far as the use of 5G technology is concerned, the country is lagging behind the whole region, and, amazingly, only Afghanistan is behind it. This reveals how the delay in its use has resulted in Pakistan not availing themselves fully of the benefits offered by high-speed internet connectivity services offered by 5G.

However, in spite of all these challenges, the PTA has assured all the stakeholders and telcos that there would be less delay in the coming days. This is because the authorities are doing their best to ensure the conclusion of the frameworks and auctioning of processes for the implementation of 5G networks in major cities and the entire country.
