He was in critical condition before being admitted to the hospital at Breach Candy in Mumbai, where he left for his heavenly home. The nation is filled with a feeling of loss and grief, with various leaders across sectors paying tribute to his demise.

Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran paid tribute: “Mr Ratan Naval Tata was a truly uncommon leader whose immeasurable contributions shaped both the Tata Group and our nation.” Prime Minister Narendra Modi remembered him as “a visionary business leader, a compassionate soul, and an extraordinary human being.”

Ratan Tata transformed the landscape of the Indian industry for years, making innovation inevitable in industries involving steel, automotive, and technology. He started Tata Group in various fields, including the idea of the Tata Nano, an affordable automobile that could provide accessibility to everyone. His dedication to technological advancements can be seen more evidently on projects such as Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and acquiring Jaguar Land Rover.

Tata will be remembered both as a business tycoon and a philanthropist who inspired generations. His final rights would be performed with full state honors.
