The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has pledged its full support to facilitate visas for Pakistani IT companies, as confirmed by the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki. This commitment was made following a meeting between the Ambassador and Dr. Umar Saif, the Caretaker Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication.
The discussion primarily focused on streamlining visa procedures for Pakistani IT professionals and business personnel. During the meeting, various matters related to IT and Telecommunication, as well as mutual interests, were addressed. Both sides expressed a shared interest in enhancing cooperation in the IT and telecom sectors between the two countries.
Dr. Umar Saif emphasized Pakistan’s intent to strengthen its relations with Saudi Arabia in the fields of IT and telecom, highlighting Saudi Arabia’s attractiveness as a market for Pakistani IT companies. He stressed the importance of facilitating travel and visas for Pakistani IT companies expanding their presence and business operations in Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the potential of IT and telecom professionals in Pakistan and the conducive investment environment in the country.
