Saudi Arabia’s most prominent Telecom infrastructure company, TAWAL has gained widespread recognition recently for officially expanding its network in Pakistan.
The company’s network is already enormously spread, having 15,500 towers and acquired AWAL Telecom including all of its infrastructure from its leading shareholders.
On Wednesday, the federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication, Mr. Syes Amin Ul Haque was called to the office of Mr. Emmanuel Leonard, the Chief International Officer, in a high-level delegation to give a vote on thanks.
The federal Minister appreciated TAWAL’s efforts for expanding its network all over Pakistan, having high hopes for the company to contribute to the Telecom industry of Pakistan, and congratulated the higher authorities for their ambitions.
He further added: “We hope that TAWAL would play an active role in providing avenues for foreign investment and job opportunities through present expansion of networks and for future networks like 5G and IBS.”
To honor the IT Minister, Mr. Emmanuel presented him with a shield and stated: “TAWAL Group is grateful for all the support of the MOITT to start its operation. We took the required license for installing mobile network towers in Pakistan.” He added to his statement and said, “TAWAL is in sync with the government policy of smartphones for everyone in Pakistan.”
