In Pakistan, the IT sector has grown at a tremendous rate; exports were valued at 39 percent during October 2024 as compared to the same period last year. This also forms part of the trend where the country’s tech industry is gaining momentum and making strides at the global level.

According to different surveys, there is increased demand for IT services such as software development, cloud computing, and IT consulting, which have been integral to Pakistan’s efforts to expand its digital footprint worldwide.

Government policies, including tax incentives for IT companies and policies to encourage tech startups, have worked in their favor. Moreover, the rise in digital transformation worldwide has opened up more avenues for Pakistani IT companies and has further brought them into the international market.

According to experts, as the IT sector continues to grow, Pakistan’s tech exports will continue to rise, making the country a promising provider of IT services.
